Day Two Hundred Sixty Three:

September 20, 2009.

Today is Sunday and this is the time to be with the family. My family visited us in our house for lunch. We prepared some food and ate together. Our house was a disaster! My nephew and niece’s played with our things. But it was fine. I am glad they had a great time today.

Day Two Hundred Sixty Two:

September 19, 2009.

Today is the Fluvial parade of the Peñafrancia Festival in Naga City. My husband and I went there via motorcycle. It was a 1 hour and 45 minutes ride from our place. My family went there also to visit my relative’s from my mom’s side. We are with my husband’s friends and headed to Basilica Church. After attending a mass there we headed to SM Naga to eat lunch. And then we separated paths as me and my husband will go to my aunt’s place. In the afternoon we watched the fluvial parade and then headed to my aunt’s place again. And at 8pm we went back home. It was a very tiring ride. whew!

September 18, 2009.

My parent’s home is a disaster today. All of my nephew and niece’s toys are all over the place!!! Yaiks! But we played together and had a great time with them. It was nice to bond with my nephew and niece. After 6 months I think they will move to the US and I will surely miss them. So I need to spend some more time with them.

A lot died during the hit of typhoon Ondoy in Manila and the nearby provinces and I send our condolences to them. I hope their families are moving on. Day Two Hundred Sixty:

September 17, 2009.

Today I met with my college friends. It was great seeing them again. Bonding time was fun!. My sister in law also came home from Metro Manila. She was here for a visit. We bonded in the parlor for a pedicure manicure time. It was fun being with her. She’ll go home tomorrow.

When my parents visited us here in our house last week they commented how beautiful our kitchen faucet. They were asking me where I bought it and how much it costs. I told them I bought it at Handy Man in Legazpi. Maybe they are planning on getting a new one for their kitchen. I saw last time that their faucet was leaking. Better replace it now or the water will flood their house.

Day Two Hundred Fifty Nine:

September 16, 2009.

This is a very sweet photo. My nephew Lilo helping Nadine, my niece, hold her umbrella. Lilo is such a helpful kid. She loves her cousin so much. Thank you Kuya Lilo!

I am here watching the news about the typhoon Ondoy’s rage in Manila. It is devastating. It really breaks my heart seeing those people affected by the flood. I hope everyone was fine now and received help. Keep praying everyone. God is good. He has plans and will bless us in the coming days. Be safe and let us help one another.
