Our Christmas Celebration 08

Warning: Long Post and Photo Flooding

December 24th

We always celebrate December 24th with the kids in our subdivision and nearby baranggays. Those kids are the carolers every night. We never gave them money whenever they go to our house and sing Christmas songs. We just tell them to please go back on the 24th because we will be having a party for them. And they are excited after that. So last 24th there were lots of kids at my parents house partying, singing and dancing. It was pure happiness! We got some prizes for them and lots of candies to give. Mom prepared sandwiches and tetra pack juices for them too! It was nice to see them happy. They thank us with all their heart after the celebration.

The kids dancing.

Goiling Giling Dance by the girls and the winning carolers sang Feliz Navidad.

Hep Hep Hooray game.

The very unique drums by the carolers.

Our Noche Buena Celebration.

I was wide awake when the clock hits 12oclock. But dear hubby, my brother, sister in law, dad and my sister are all sleeping. I tried waking them up but they never get up from bed. I again tried and luckily dad, dear hubby and my sister woke up. The family of my brother didn’t even opened their eyes on Christmas eve. hihihi! So we (dad, mom, hubby, me, my niece Nadine and my sister) ate spaghetti and cakes on our simple Noche Buena. I gave my gifts to mom and dad, my sister and our maid. I am happy seeing the glow in their eyes when they opened the gifts. They love it!

My dear niece on her first Christmas Celebration. Love the print on her sweat shirt!

My sisters gifts to us.

Our simple Noche Buena.

That’s how we celebrated our Christmas Eve. I am happy to be with my family and eat with them. Hubby and I didn’t went home so we decided to just sleep at my sisters bedroom. We slept at 2am. It was a great Christmas to us!
